As we approach towards the end of the school year, let us take some time to reflect on the journey we've had, so far! Welcome to the End Of Year Reflection!
Reflection can be understood as looking back at a trail that we've walked - observing all the twists and turns along the way, some challenges, and victories. In this lesson, we'll explore what we should reflect on and use some questions to carry forward our reflections.
Reflection is a powerful tool that can help us to understand what went well and what can be improved in our learning experiences.
Here are some things we must reflect on:
Academic achievements, challenges or struggles that helped us to learn new ways of dealing with them.
Friendships, which include the new friends we made, the older friends we continue to have and any challenges we worked through to maintain healthy friendships.
Personal Growth is an important aspect to reflect on at the end of the year. We could think about whether we have changed, what are some new learnings? Did we learn a new skill? Did we fulfil or achieve some of our goals?
Challenges: It's important to reflect on our learnings from any challenges or struggles that we faced and how we handled those situations.
Let us refer to the workbook questions to help us with the reflection.
Reflection is like looking in a mirror that helps us to understand what happened inside our brains, minds, our emotions and thoughts in this academic year
We can reflect on academic achievements or challenges, friendships, any challenges we faced throughout our year and our personal growth.
We can reflect by responding to questions about how the year has gone by.
